Background
I was lucky enough to get my hands on some flower by Farmer G and Badder (flower grown by Roadrunner then extracted by Devcal).
Appearance
The flower looks incredible with dense bud structure on the indica-leaning side. It is positively glistening with trichomes, yet still dark and light in different patches due to the shades on the sample which encompass green, white and even some shades of blue.
The badder extract, a form of BHO, is a shiny golden extract with a lovely consistency. The sort of stuff that is easily grabbed from the pot with the dab tool, but thicker than sauce.
Aroma
Lots of different notes make up this aroma, including the purple grape Kool aid smell inherited from Purple Punch (which is Larry OG X Granddaddy Purple), expressed in a sweetness in the Footloose.

The extract smells like fizzy sherbet from the sweetness with a slight hint of citrus present. The sweet overtakes the pungency in the smell here.
Taste
Smoking Footloose gives a good flavour, even through the bong which is typically less of a flavoursome delivery than other consumption methods. The sweet taste comes through along with an earthiness and the smoke produced is cool and smooth.
The extract dabs beautifully, giving a sweet flavour that stays on the tongue even after the dab is done like sugar in the mouth. Earth and a pungent notes permeate the almost sickly flavour during the exhale and this sample tastes very clean with no acridity in the hit.
Effects
This is definitely on the indica side of the spectrum - a few minutes after smoking my legs feel tired and I want to sit down. I also notice sparkles in the lights in front of me, so this has highly increased my sensitivity to light. I don't notice dry mouth but feel quite wavey, the come up is noticeable.
Also, I shuffled on my feet a bit as the high kicked in, suggesting some sativa influence.
This one kicks in fast and strong on the relaxing end of the spectrum, so would potentially make a great afternoon/evening smoke.
Conclusion
The Footloose cannabis strain has great genetics, and it was only a matter of time before this one started winning cannabis cups. RoadRunner won this year's Dead Fox Cup with his pheno of Footloose, and won the rosin competition on the day of the DFC 2019 event with solventless that was pressed from the same plant.
It has been fun trying out this strain in flower and extract form - I like these genetics and I could definitely get used to smoking this one.
