This sample came from the US, imported to the UK before being given to me in sample form for the review.
Appearance
This sample is incredibly frosty, as you can see from the close-up shots.
It has been given a good trim job, with only the smallest hints of where the leaves once were.
This Girl Scout Cookies also feels dense, with just a slight bit of give as it's squeezed. There are also hints of purple spread across parts of the bud which come out more as you break it open.
The sample generally looks great: although I haven't been given a particularly well-sized bud to review, I can still gauge the appearance of this cannabis strain fairly well, and I was impressed.
Aroma
I'm getting a dusty cookies scent off of this sample initially. As I break it open, a dank pungency comes out in full-force, minus the sweetness I was expecting to experience with this strain.
This is the second phenotype of Girl Scout Cookies I had tried that doesn't seem to capture much of the OG Kush from its parenthood.
That being said, it smells great. Due to the sample being slightly older the smell comes out a lot more once broken/ground up.
Taste
I decided to smoke this Girl Scout Cookies through my Chongz Widow Maker bong.

Blowing out the smoke I was not feeling any need to cough. This is some high-quality ganja right here.
It tastes so good I go back for a second bowl, and once again I was not disappointed.
This Girl Scout Cookies tastes fantastic: Well-cured, pungent and with solid cookies strain flavour - this is a real treat.
Effects
As a hybrid cannabis strain, I was expecting effects on both end of the spectrum after consuming the Girl Scout Cookies.
The first thing to kick in is the elation, this strain makes me really happy. I was convinced that part of the elation comes from how good this tastes, but as it kicks in more and more I was getting the uplifting sense that comes with a nice hybrid strain.
As the second bong kicks in and the first continues to work its magic, I experience the more chilling effects of this strain as I begin to feel good all over my body. It feels good to stretch.
This is a strong sample and I feel rather stoned after a couple of bong hits, but minus any intensity. I could certainly get used to smoking lots more of this one (if I had more to smoke!)
The balance in effects of the Girl Scout Cookies are also wonderful; it delivers a pleasant and enjoyable hybrid high.
Conclusion
One of the best strains I had reviewed this year. This sample of Girl Scout Cookies has secured the strain a spot in my top 10, after a bit of much-needed top-ten-spot jiggling.
I could smoke this all day, every day, and still not get bored. It's a pleasure to smoke and the effects are great.
If all US-imported bud tasted like this I fear my bank balance would be considerably lower, as this really was something special I don't encounter every day.
