Background

Peach Ozz is a cannabis strain bred by Dying Breed Seeds that combines OZ Kush X Peach Ringz.

Crossing these two strains together has resulted in a wonderful mix in all areas from appearance to flavour to effects. The strain is a sativa-dominant hybrid that tastes like peaches and Zkittlez! Grown by Devcal, this sample is organic and has been grown using the notill growing method.

Appearance

This strain has a classic look to the buds, not too dense or heavy and taking on the appearance of sativa-dominant hybrid somewhat.

The colours are striking, with deep greens and orange pistils showing across the sample.

Aroma

Peach Ringz parents capture Zkittlez and OG on one side, and Peach on the other. This gives the terp profile a nice combination of candied fruits and gas. I get hints of Zkittlez but the profile has adjusted somewhat with the peach coming through nicely.

A strong sweet peach smell is the most apparent, and breaking this sample open the aroma intensifies.

Taste

The Peach Ozz flower tastes great when smoked through a bong or vaped using a vaporiser. I was pleasantly surprised with the smoothness of the smoke which also delivered sugar-sweet Peach notes.

The taste turns from sweet to sour on the exhale.

I thought this tasted more like ZkittleZ than expected - the cross has its own distinct flavour profile. I had not tried the peach ringz candy in the USA to compare the flavour but this would have been an interesting exercise based on its parent strain.

Effects

The strength of the Peach Ozz is reasonable, with a good high for the daytime kicking in after a few minutes.

This hybrid is down as a Sativa-dominant (75/25%) and the effects are lifting, inducing of happiness and, like many strains, quite relaxing.

Conclusion

Overall the Peach Ozz strain was an interesting smoke, for sure. I love the sweet peach flavour mixed with the OZ Kush and the high made a great smoke for the daytime.
