Background
Sour Headstash combines Karma Genetics' Headstash male X Sour Diesel.
Appearance
The nugs of the Sour Headstash didn't look that great if I was honest, a bit dark and leafy. I think maybe this one resembles the sour diesel with that old school look a bit, but the sample buds were a little too small to tell properly.
Darker in colour, popcorn nugs, striking golden pistils quite visible and some leaf remaining.
Aroma
This strain smells delicious, encompassing gassy berry notes and earthy OG-type smells in good measure.
The jar stank as soon as I opened it, releasing a tremendously potent smell into the room that would not be mistaken.
The smell intensified when the flower was ground up, giving this one good marks in the aroma department.
Taste
This was the first review using my Dynavap M Vaporizer, which gave me a great jet fuel flavour that tasted like pure OG.
When I smoked Sour Headstash in my bong it tasted great, with an earthy power that you'd get from OG strains tasted on the exhale. The smoke had some bite, possibly from the pure gas power it was delivering.
Effects
An indica-dominant cannabis strain, Sour Headstash is relaxing and chilled me out within a few minutes of consumption.
This led to a nice body-led feeling, followed by red-eye and eventually the munchies kicked in.
Conclusion
Sour Headstash was a nice smoke - despite losing marks in the appearance, the smell and flavour brought it back. I also enjoyed the body-led high from this strain which is the sort of high I like for when I was watching Netflix or playing video games.
Uncertainty and variation
Cultivar characteristics vary between growers, batches and phenotypes. The archive records a specific reviewed sample — it is not a current product specification.
