This famous strain combines the lemony aroma and taste with the sweetness of SSH, resulting in a tasty haze strain with very strong citrus notes.
The effects of the Super Lemon Haze are interesting - providing less of an uplifting effect than I was expecting. It took a bit longer to kick in than some of the other recent strains I had reviewed.
The thing I was most impressed with about this particular bit of Super Lemon Haze was the smell, which contained all the notes that I was expecting, even before breaking the buds open. That delicious lemony skunky sweet aroma - mmmm!
Unfortunately, the taste didn't materialise through either my bong or my Pax 2 Vaporiser, meaning I was left feeling like this phenotype was not really up to standard with the quality I usually review.
As mentioned in the review - it is interesting that after doing the strain reviews for the past 9 months it has shifted my perception on cannabis - some strains (like this) which used to be in my top 10 would now no longer make the cut!
However, it could just be this particular phenotype that I didn't enjoy as much as the times I had sampled the strain previously, so I was certainly looking forward to sampling some more Super Lemon Haze in the future.
