Background
This phenotype of Yeti OG was found and selected by Resin Heads Genetics in the UK. It is one of two selected phenotypes entered into various cannabis cups in the UK and on mainland Europe.
Rosin placed first and third at the 2017 Dead Fox Cup. The flower placed 11th at the 2019 UK Canna Cup, and rosin placed third at the 2019 Homegrown Cup in the Netherlands.

Appearance
The bud structure is distinct - the plant flowers in 10 weeks and grows in a similar fashion to your typical OG with viney woody stalks.
There are several colours visible - various shades of greens and yellows - this was flushed for 21 days and grown in coco.
Aroma
The smell consists of fresh pine, jet fuel/diesel and lime/citrus with a peppermint kick. If it were a cocktail it would definitely be a mojito.
Nice levels of smell in the jar - made more apparent when breaking the bud open. The gassy aroma hits the nostrils in a way similar to stardawg but less earthy.
Taste
Interestingly the smoke from Yeti OG feels cool during both inhale and exhale due to the minty nature of this particular pheno. Think cool mint, brushing your teeth or even chewing gum. That coolness you get when breathing with something minty in your mouth is there when you smoke this pheno.
The citrus lime can be tasted also, particularly in the vapor - I vaped this in my Ghost MV1 and smoked it through the ROOR Little Sista bong, both delivering a good representation of the strain in all its glory.
Vaping was my preferred consumption method, as I got more nuances in the flavour and the mentholy minty coolness made it so different from the many other strains I had been vaping recently.
Effects
I guessed this was around 17-22% and I was correct - it has 20% THC and 3% CBD apparently. This is a good level of cannabinoids for an afternoon/evening/weekend strain and the indica dominant Yeti OG lives up to that.
I felt relaxed in both body and mind, with the effects leaving me wanting to sit down after 5 or so minutes.
With afghan landrace in the heritage you can expect the physical warmth in the body that some indicas deliver, and this is a nice (but strange) contrast to the cool nature of the taste!
Conclusion
Yeti OG delivers a cocktail-flavoured package of cannabinoid goodness and is well worth a try. Pair with after eights (or similar) for maximum delight.
